The Marketing or Science editorial team is composed of board-certified physicians, PhD research scientists, and licensed advanced practice providers with active clinical and academic backgrounds in dermatology, pharmacology, and related biomedical fields. Every review published on this site is produced or directly supervised by a team member with relevant domain expertise. Our process begins with primary literature review — pre-clinical studies, peer-reviewed trials, systematic reviews, and regulatory guidance — evaluated against the specific claims a product or ingredient makes. We distinguish between mechanistic plausibility, animal data, and human RCT evidence, and weight them accordingly. Funding sources and potential conflicts of interest in cited studies are assessed and disclosed where relevant. We do not soften conclusions for commercial palatability, and our editorial positions are independent of any brand relationships or advertising revenue.
