Dr. Ben Ouyang, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist specializing in Internal Medicine and
Hematology/Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute in Boston. He earned his MD and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
He is also a graduate of the prestigious Stanbury Physician-Scientist Pathway at MGH. His research lies at the intersection between cancer nanomedicine and immuno-oncology, and his medical practice covers internal medicine
with specialization in hematology and oncology. He has a
particular interest in how biological mechanisms are interpreted — and
frequently misinterpreted — in patient-facing contexts. He
contributes evidence-based analysis to help our readers understand what
the clinical trial literature actually supports.
